Fire Wood Project #3 (Splitting)

The chainsaw is still fucked. Ordered a new carburetor which arrives in 2 days. A total of 17 trees were felled for this project. 15 trees have been bucked up and transported to the wood shed, 2 trees remain to be bucked up when my chainsaw is running again.

So,

For now I am going to split the wood that I did complete bucking.

I lowered the back seats of my Jeep Liberty and put down a piece of cardboard to protect the interior (somewhat) from debris.

I stacked the rounds on the edge of my wood shed so that they are close but won't get in the way of stacking the split pieces inside.

 I'm going to split them all with a maul.

I'm aiming to finish splitting this wood in less than 5 days and be done before Christmas.
